I have just started to put a site together for the Chromik clan. I have limited data and would be pleased to get input from anyone who can help. I am hppy to continue as webmaster and as you can see, I have made it part of my family site. I will hand it over to anyone who wishes to take it over. All additional information is gratefully accepted - Johnny

I have entered information to the best of my knowledge - Please email me if you wish me to make edits

Frank arrived in the USA at New York aboard the ship 'Friedrich Der Grosse' from Bremen, 9th Apr 1902. He was 20

In the 1920 Census Frank tells us that he is self-employed as a grocer. By the 1930 Census Frank is the proprietor of a butcher shop and the family are living in South Crawford Ave, Chicago

Julia Dusik
Birth: 1 Feb 1885 in Hungary
Death: Aug 1974

Only one Julia Dusik shows on the New York immigration record. Julia arrived on "The Konig Albert" 26th March 1903. She was 17 years old and seems to have been part of a family group, sponsored by her uncle Michael. Michael's wife, Marta and son, Mihaly, are travelling with Julia. Michael gives his address as Lansford Pa. The only problem is that Julia gives her place of birth as Poland - working on this !!

Special thanks to Sue for the information on Julia.

The Konig Albert

Microfilm Serial: 15 Microfilm Roll: T715_332

Frank's parents were both born in Poland. Working on this and it would be great to get any additional information.
